Artist Bio
Meet the Artist
Miley Yousefi is an Iranian-Swedish contemporary artist based in Stockholm. Before dedicating herself fully to art, she worked for years in engineering and technical fields, a background that continues to influence her structured approach to creating.
She is a graduate of the Milan Art Institute and a member of the Society of Professional Artists. Her practice combines figurative painting, mixed media, collage and expressive mark-making.
Personalized portrait commissions are at the heart of Miley’s practice. She creates portraits from the things her clients hold dear, incorporating photographs, handwritten notes, family recipes, children’s drawings, jewellery and other meaningful personal fragments into the artwork itself.
For Miley, the portrait becomes more than a likeness. It becomes a personal piece of art that preserves memories, stories and the details that make someone’s life their own.
Your Story. Your Portrait.
Her work is collected internationally and has attracted private collectors, interior designers and design-conscious spaces.
Artist Statement
My work is driven more by feeling than perfection. I am drawn to rawness, layered emotion, intimacy, and the space where softness and strength exist at the same time.
I paint to create something that feels deeply personal and alive, whether it is a feeling, a memory, or a vision waiting to become real.
For my commissioned portraits especially, I want the painting to become more than something beautiful on a wall. I want it to serve you, reflect something meaningful to you, and become a piece of your story that you treasure.
